Cocktail Recipe du Jour: Double Pepper Margarita

Posted on May 03, 2018 by Miriam Zelinsky

Hey guys!

It doesn't need to be Cinco de Mayo for us to enjoy a marg! This recipe is one I've been making recently on Sunday nights - definitely a cure for the Sunday blues! Also, this recipe calls for multiple veggies so it's a great way to knock out those pesky veggie servings. #amiright? It's definitely a winning cocktail that has a little bite  – perfect for Cinco de Mayo and beyond!

Cheers, guys!

Miriam

What You'll Need (Recipe serves uno)

  • 1/4 of a bell pepper
  • 1 lime
  • A segment of cucumber (about 1-2 inches depending on preference)
  • Bunch of cilantro (optional)
  • Serrano, jalapeno or fresno chili pepper (optional)
  • 2 shots of your favorite blanco/silver tequila
  • Honey/agave
  • ice

What To Do:

  1. Add the cucumber, bell pepper, cilantro, chili pepper (if you're using the last two) to a tumbler with ice and muddle very well.
  2. Add the juice of one lime to the mix.
  3. Add a drizzle of honey or more to taste.
  4. Add the tequila and shake, shake, shake!
  5. Serve in your favorite margarita glass and garnish with a slice of cucumber and a lime wedge!
